The Focus 3 has display panels with 2448×2448 resolution for each eye with a 90Hz refresh rate, both upgrades to the 1440x1600 pixels per eye and 75Hz refresh rate for 2019’s Vive Focus Plus. The Vive Focus 3 is more designed for business usage and is a standalone headset that uses inside-out tracking instead of external sensors to determine a user’s position. This is an increase on the 2880x1600 resolution, 90Hz panels of the original Vive Pro. The Vive Pro 2 is primarily designed to be linked to a PC for gaming experiences and features a 120Hz display with 2448x2448 pixels per eye that should eliminate the “screen door” issues that lower res headsets can suffer from.
